Prices of repairs and maintenance at constructionssites
Gettová, Zuzana ; Rosecká, Zdenka (referee) ; Tichá, Alena (advisor)
The subject of this Bachelor thesis was comparing the prices of maintenance, repairs and reconstructions on the same object made in the Slovak Republic. The first was carried out to compare the budgets established on the Slovak financial programme (CENKROS) within the price level for 2009 and 2014. The next step is to compare the budget created in CENKROSE in the Slovak Republic and the newly created budget in the price level (KROS plus) in the Czech Republic. Compared to how the unit price, the total cost of all the other changes that are occurring in the budgets.
The Impact of the Global Crisis on the Changes in the Civil Engineering.
Smejkalová, Aneta ; Hromádka, Vít (referee) ; Vítková, Eva (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the changes in civil engineering that occured as a result of the global pandemic crisis. The theoretical part defines the basic terms and definitions, describes facts from past crises and defines the economic situation before the pandemic. It compares the economic situation before and after the start of the pandemic. This thesis also examines the development of selected macroeconomic indicators during the crisis. The practical part consists of an analysis of the construction market using a questionnaire survey. Based on the data from this survey, it evaluates the view of participants in the construction market on the supply side. The final data obtained from the questionnaire survey are compared with statistical data. Finally, possible predictions about the development of civil engineering are defined.
Charakteristika nových hybridů silážní kukuřice
Stejskalová, Šárka
This bachelor thesis focuses on the characteristics of early maturing corn silage hybrids from the VP AGRO company. The selected hybrids were compared according to the yields of the green matter (t/ha), dry matter (t/ha and %) and according to the price level of seeds (Kč/SU). The data were collected from field trial records that took place between 2011 and 2022. These field experiments took place in the Czech potatoe agricultural sector in the Vysočina region at the following stands: Bobrová, Častrov, Horní Krupá, Okrouhlička, Počátky, Pohled, Pozovice, Radostín, Stonařov and Věž. Twelve hybrids were selected for the purpose of the study. The hybrids were subsequently divided according to the year of registration in the Czech Republic, followed by their detailed description and analysis. Based on the collected data, the following results were found. The total yields of green matter for all hybrids showed very similar and high values (50 t/ha). On the contrary the results of dry matter yields differed for each hybrid (16–18 t/ha). Additionally, similar fluctuations of dry matter in percent (34–38 %) were found. This high level of percentages of dry matter was caused by climate, soil conditions and different properties of individual hybrid. Regarding the economic comparison, the rising trend of the price level was confirmed, as is the case in the entire national sector. Seed prices have been affected by climatic, socio, political, and economic changes. One of the reasons for the price increase proved to be bad weather conditions (drought) in France, the state where the selected hybrids are bred.
Analysis of the construction cost estimation
Koukolová, Denisa ; Mrňová, Zuzana (referee) ; Tichá, Alena (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor thesis is the analysis of the price development of the extension of the kindergarten Újezd and selected items from the budget. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts of price theory, costing, construction budget and costs. The practical part examines the development of selected items and materials from the budget and the total cost of construction from 2016 to 2023. The output of this work is a description and graphical representation of the development of prices of works and materials.

The Empirics of Deflation and Economic Growth

Author: Pavel Ryska Doctoral thesis: The Empirics of Deflation and Economic Growth Abstract This doctoral thesis deals with the relationship between deflation and economic growth. Existing empirical research has focused on the simple link between price growth and GDP growth or introduced narrower price measures as control variables. The goal of the present work is to account for shifts in both demand and supply, so that the effect of price inflation on growth as such could be separated from effects of changes in certain elements of nominal demand and supply. The work takes two general approaches. First, I use a large macroeconomic panel data set of 20 countries over approximately 140 years to explore long-run and short-run effects of inflation on output growth, after controlling for money supply growth as a demand shifter and oil price growth as a proxy for shifts in supply. In doing so, I use a range of methods such as the vector error-correction model, autoregressive distributed lag model and the fixed effects panel model. Second, I propose a new approach that uses disaggregated sector data from national accounts on output, prices and other variables to explore the link between quantity produced and sector inflation rates. The advantage of the data set is that it is rich in modern-day observations of...
Comparison of price levels on the countries of Visegrad group after joining the European Union
Bočkoriková, Bernadeta ; Nečadová, Marta (advisor) ; Rusmichová, Lada (referee)
BOČKORIKOVÁ, Bernadeta: Comparison of price levels on the countries of Visegrad group after joining the European Union. University of Economics, Prague, Faculty of Business administration, Department of Economics and Management. Thesis supervisor: Ing. Marta Nečadová, Ph.D, 2017, 48 s. The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the evolution of different price levels in the countries of the Visegrad Four after joining the European Union and to identify the reasons of the differences. The theoretical part of the thesis defines inflation, describes the possibilities and ways of measuring inflation and briefly describes the consequences of inflation. In this part, there are analysis of the composition consumer basket for each country of the Visegrad Four. Compared are the differences in the structure of consumer price index ant the harmonized index of consumer prices. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the comparison of the price level in the perion of years 2004-2016. Development of the annual inflation rate for each country is explained by annual rate of changes of selected sectors of the consumer basket.
Future of Inflation Targeting in the Russian Federation
Navrátilová, Alice ; Fungáčová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Raková, Marie (referee)
Hereby presented Master Thesis deals with an analysis of preparedness of the Russian monetary policy for adoption of inflation-targeting regime. We define the impact of different factors on the level of inflation and consequently their importance in the process of predicting inflation in the period from January 2006 to September 2012 in the Russian Federation. The selection of the factors is based on theory and on the examination of the Russian monetary policy environment, taking into account the credibility, transparency and accountability of the monetary institutions and the financial sector and real economy specifications. The analysis of interconnections among the factors is based on a vector autoregressive regression model VAR(4) as well as on Granger causality test and impulse-response analysis. Our results indicate that the major role in inflation formation among the chosen variables, the exchange rate prevailed in the observed period and the interest rate gained in importance to certain extent. Thus the Russian Central Bank has proceeded to prepare the monetary policy rule for the adoption of inflation-targeting regime. Nevertheless, building more sound monetary and financial institutions, successful implementation of flexible exchange rate and abandoning exchange rate targeting, as...

Why Should a Value Added Tax Increase Prices of Consumption Goods?
Macek, Jan ; Potužák, Pavel (advisor) ; Janíčko, Martin (referee)
In my bachelor thesis, I present the view of modern mainstream economics on price formation and effect of taxes on price level. Then, I contrast this view with the theory of Austrian school of economics. While the mainstream economic theory assumes certain fraction of the VAT-rate to be passed forward immediately, that action does not have support in the Austrian theory of price formation. According to Austrian economists, passing the costs of taxation forward takes time. The prices of consumption goods rise because of lower quantity supplied, which is caused by lower demand for factors of production. The thesis hypothesis is proven correct by econometric model estimating a statistically significant rise in aggregate price level as a result of VAT-rate rise. Assumption of statistically significant rise in price level in a month before the VAT-rate rise was not proven correct.
